2009 Christmas Recital/Party

On Wednesday, December 16th, all Golden Girls and their parents gathered together at the Windsor Recreation Center for their annual Christmas Recital/Party! The first portion of the evening consisted of the girls performing a variety of their routines, followed by intermission, and an awards/slide show presentation. The party really got going once the music started. Our traditional dances of “The Chicken Dance”, “Hokey Pokey”, “Danish Dance”, and the all-time favorite “Time Warp” were enjoyed by all. The evening continued to build as the moms/ladies got up to compete in their own drill down, and the fathers/gentlemen showed off their strutting and twirling technique for our annual “Mr. Majorette” competition. And finally, who do you suppose made a grand visit to wish everyone a “MERRY CHRISTMAS”???
